Stack emissions monitoring

Glass Technology Services Ltd is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and the Environment Agency's MCERTs Monitoring Certification Scheme.

深海捕鱼大师All site staff are fully trained in working at height and hold MCERTS level 1 and/or level 2 certifications. MCERTS accredited testing is a requirement for all IPPC part A1 and A2 processes.

深海捕鱼大师In addition to standard monitoring and testing our experienced staff are able to assist with the interpretation of monitoring results and, working with our consultancy services, advise on abatement strategies.

深海捕鱼大师The stack emissions team are accredited to sample and analyse a range of process emissions for properties including:

  • Particulate - ISO:9096,' Stationary source emissions. Manual determination of mass concentration of particulate matter', and BS EN 13284-1,' Stationary source emissions. Determination of low range mass concentration of dust. Manual gravimetric method';
  • Hydrogen Chloride - BS EN 1911, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of mass concentration of gaseous chlorides expressed as HCl. Standard reference method' ;
  • Hydrogen Fluoride - BS ISO 15713, 'Stationary source emissions. Sampling and determination of gaseous fluoride content';
  • Heavy Metals - BS EN 14385, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of the total emission of As, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sb, TI and V';
  • Sulphur Dioxide - BS EN 14791, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of mass concentration of sulphur dioxide. Reference method', and EA M21, 'Stationary source emissions — a procedure to use an alternative method for measuring emissions of sulphur dioxide, using instrumental techniques';
  • Oxides of Nitrogen - BS EN 14792, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of mass concentration of nitrogen oxides (NOx). Reference method: Chemiluminescence';
  • Ammonia - BS EN 14791, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of mass concentration of sulphur dioxide. Reference method';
  • Carbon Monoxide - BS EN 15058, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of the mass concentration of carbon monoxide (CO). Reference method: non-dispersive infrared spectrometry';
  • TOC - BS EN 12619, 'Stationary source emissions. Determination of the mass concentration of total gaseous organic carbon. Continuous flame ionisation detector method'

In addition to compliance check monitoring of Part A, A2 and B processes we also carry out testing for:

  • Calibration of continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS);
  • Abatement plant efficiency trials;
  • Process investigations.
